There
are several colors of Percherons, the most common being black or
dappled gray. The Sorrel color is very rare and comes from a recessive
gene in the percheron line. We have been raising sorrel percherons
for over 25 years.
Currently we are one of the only six-horse
hitches of sorrel percherons in the United States. We use our
horses for both farm work and showing. Our
competitive show hitch is sponsored by Laurel Farm and Western
Supply, located in Bellingham Washington. We are currently
breeding the sorrel percherons and at times have some quality
stock for sale.
